HLB appoint Bettina Cassegrain as Global Director of Professional Standards and Sustainability Assurance

London - HLB, the global network of independent advisory and accounting firms, is pleased to announce the appointment of Bettina Cassegrain as Global Director of Professional Standards and Sustainability Assurance.  

Bettina's long-time dedication to professional standards and sustainability assurance has enhanced HLB's reputation as a global leader in delivering exceptional client services. In her new role, Bettina will promote responsible business practices that align with HLB’s purpose to create a positive and sustainable impact. This will ensure that HLB remains the preferred strategic partner supporting clients on their sustainability journey toward long-term value creation.  

Additionally, Bettina will oversee HLB’s robust quality assurance programme, ensuring compliance with the stringent requirements set forth by the Forum of Firms. She will also continue building the culture of learning she has created within the HLB community during her tenure as Technical Director and Global Assurance Leader. 

Her leadership will extend to outreach initiatives focusing on training, quality assurance, and related matters across Europe, Eurasia, French-speaking Africa, Latin America, and South America.
